Just finishing a fantastic week in Kalkan. Looking back, we probably spent the most time out in Cafe Vita. My dad had already reccommended it to me and it certainly lived up to his hype. Everyone there was really lovely, and the service and food was excellent. I had a really delicious omelet there one morning that wasn't quite like anything I'd had before.

Having said that, the clear winner in terms of the food served was the cheesecake. I've been here a week with my sister, and between the two of us we've had at least ten slices in that time, I'd wager. That's not counting the extras we brought back to give to our friends.

It's a wonderful place. Although we didn't personally take advantage of it, I understand they deliver as well. I really can't advise enough that you give it a try.

Julian

Julian, sounds like you liked Cafe Vita but you must have like other places too - why not tell us about them all?  x
Currently have a duplex apartment in Kiziltas which we visit as often as we can.

Cafe Vita has maintained it's excellent and reasonably priced menu while expanding it's setting to become even more welcoming.  Mustafa always welcomes you with a smile.

We are staying in Pasha apartments in August.  Does anyone know how close cafe vita is to them as I'm hoping it will be handy for lunch etc.

Cafe Vita about 10 minute walk up quite a steep hill from the Pasha Apartments - very friendly atmosphere and welcoming owner with great priced food, perfect for lunch and also evening meal if you want something a bit cheaper than the roof top restaurants.  We stopped at the Pasha in May and had a wonderful holiday.  Mark and Amelda are wonderful hosts who will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.  We are also back on 26th July stopping at the Asfyia Hotel which is just over the road from the Pasha.

Antler's just had Shrimp Casserole at Cafe Vita. It was to die for, the best SC this holiday. He's actually thinking of having another but Mrs A is giving him grief. The Lads had Chilli and also Chicken Curry. They were amazed and will come back.

I have never tasted home made chips like this. They are superb.

We don't want to leave. We may not!!

Happy Holidays!

Hi Antler do you know much Vita's burger and chips are? We stayed in Kalamar last year and ate there often for lunch but are staying on the other side of Kalkan this time so wanted to check budget wise if it would be worth the walk!

Many Thanks

Have just returned from 2 weeks in kalkan, staying in a villa in Kalamar Bay. Cafe Vita was our local where we stopped off regularly.  Its great value and the food is good, the grilled trout was a big hit with our son and a fraction of the cost in town.
The staff were all great and the customer service was brilliant. Mustafa who runs it and all his staff - Gurhan and the rest of the crew were so friendly that you feel at home instantly.  (Hi to you all at cafe vita!)
