Yaz Cafe Kalamar Road

I have found a little gem of a place that I would like to share with everyone!  Whilst staying at the Med apartments this holiday I went into this little cafe that was perfect for my morning cappucino before setting off down to the beach!  Set at the end of the Kalamar Road opposite the new ice creamshop, it has a really lovely informal feel to it with its bright sunny decor. So I tried it for lunch and had a fantastic rocket salad...which was the me being good bit...until I spotted the next table ordering chips!  So one salad and home made chunky chips later I made it back to the apartments for a rest which was thankfully only a short distance away!!  The chef used to work at Sofra restaurant so friends and I went for dinner too!   Great food, great presentation and friendly service - can highly recommend the pasta dishes as well as the salmon...  Will be trying the other dishes when am back in Kalkan late Sept!  After all my waxing lyrical I only hope I can still get a table!!

This little cafe'' only opened a couple of weeks ago and is very pleasant indeed, it''s portions are good and tasty and it''s more what I would call "snacky" the perfect place to go if you don''t want the full monty and the service is quick and it''s reasonably cheap. You can also buy alcahol so a beer or a glass of wine to acompany your meal.
They open fairly early so a good place for breakfast. I wish them luck.

The burgers there are fab, really big and not too expensive, nice atmosphere there too. would definately recommend it.

Hi,
can you be more specific about the location of this cafe? is it near the Atlantis restaurant and Need company. I am really interested to know as if that is the location it would be near to our apartment and might make a pleasant change for lunch.

also tried yaz last night. excellent food and angora only 20ytl a bottle. there were 6 of us eating and we all thought we had the best meal! went back for lunch today and had a fab sandwich, chicken, salad. apricot and curry sauce. also included the lovely home made chips.
