Day trip to Oludeniz
« on: January 14, 2008, 09:18:30 PM »
Greetings to all Kalkan Lovers
I''m thinking about the possibility of going on a day trip to Oludeniz to try out the beach(s) there and was wondering what would be the cheapest way to travel there from Kalkan without hiring a car? Also wondering how long it would take to get there?
All suggestions greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

We took a coach to Fethiye and then taxi to Olu Deniz. Could have jumped on Dolmus in Fethiye to Olu as there seemed to be lots around but decided to opt for taxi. Coach to Fethiye around an hour/hour 15 then not long at all in taxi.
Was a few years ago but sure options are the same.
Went on a Tuesday so had plenty of time to wander around Fethiye market in the morning then off to Olu for the afternoon.

Likewise we took the coach, the early one, but then got the dolmus.  It was some time ago and had to wait a short while for the connection but am sure there are more now,  Have a good time.
