Brand police are now targeting Turkish shops selling 'genuine fakes'. Good are being confiscated. Such police are also working at international airports.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time we've read about this campaign by the major brands...? I seem to recall something very similar being posted a while back where exactly the same thing occurred in a different Turkish resort...?

good news is you cannot fake "EFES" and if anyone ever tries to water it down the full might of the law should be brought to bear, they can fake anything they like as far as I am concerned so long as they keep away from the true nectar

A Turkish guy was proudly wearing an EFC home shirt when I dropped off my hire car in Dalaman the other week. Maybe they're scarce 'cos they are so popular!!!
