Have to agree with rat2.  I also bought some beautiful fresh produce there in the summer and at very reasonable prices too.  Also in agreement with comments about Bulent, the butcher.  First class meat and service with a big smile!   I''ll be paying both a few visits in just over a week''s time!

We usually arrive Friday so miss the thursday market, so we use the fruit and veg shop next to Kaya which is great then go up to the Sunday market in Akbel and get wonderful cheeses - goats and sheeps - olives, fresh eggs and tons of salad stuff. Of course i''d like you all to think we just survive on that.... but of course then theres bottles of Angora, Efes and cognac from the airport. A fresh loaf every day and bobs your uncle. Flying back on Friday can taste those tomatoes already
