Just reading the four word thread and me and Mrs EK were remembering some of the phrases we hear whilst in Kalkan!

One of my favourites is "cheap as chips"

Lying by the pool, hearing a van pull up and a voice shout out "English bacon" as a young lad throws open his van doors to reveal lots of pork products!

Never tried it though...am usually too full from all the culinary delights in Kalkans restaurants!

My favourite recently was the owner of Yali supermarket '' today everything double price, I need the money!'' Of course nothing could be further from the truth, the supermarkets are probably the busiest business in Kalkan this year!
