Can anyone tell me how much it costs to get a taxi from kalkan to Patara Beach please and what is the cost to enter the beach area?

also do they do Dolus (if that is the correct name) from Kalkan (where in Kalkan?) straight to the Beach at Patara?

also, does anyone know what the current exchange rate is at the PO in Kalkan?

The Dolmus runs from the Otogar (bus station) at around 10.00 am and returns around 16.00.

We went yersterday hired a Taxi (Mercedes Mini Bus) for seven people cost 90 TLR for the return trip picking you up and dropping you back at your villa etc...only slightly more expensive than the Dolmus....to enter Patara is 5 TLR each sunbed and umbrella for the day 7 TLR......and it was a great day out...

There's also a dolmus (KTT) that runs from just in front of the taxi rank (opposite side of the road) starts at 10am and then at half hourly intervals until 12 noon then there's one at 1pm and 2pm. The return trips are at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm for the last one.
We were quoted 70tl for 5 of us in a taxi, so judging from Misty's post the prices vary depending on the number of you. It should be a set fare of 75 tl according to the price board by the taxi rank.

Just been today,it was 10 lira each on the dolmus from bus station,this included entry to the park area.The beds were 10 lira for two beds and umbrella.
Meals and drinks were good price,the sea was warm and it was a very relaxing day,well worth a trip.
