Shipping furniture BACK to the UK

Some friends want to ship some furniture BACK to the UK - can anybody help me with the contact details for shipping agents/companies that we can contact to make the arrangements and give us some prices...

At the moment we are dealing with a shipping agent Soyer International, who are the agent for the receipt of our goods into Turkey. They have offices in Izmir & Istanbul. Our agents in UK are Moving Partnership, who specialise in movements to Turkey and are very, very good, contact name is Tracy, they have dealt with Soyer numerous times. The dealing so far with Soyer(easy to find on the web) have been fine, my contact there is Banu. Our contract is door to door, including actually placing the goods where you want them.

I am going to their office in Izmir tomorrow, inshallah so depending on how things progress I can give you a more recent update on performance. If ok then you will have people acting on your friends behalf both in Turkey and UK.

I too used Soyer International in conjunction with Overs International in the UK when I moved out to Turkey. I had no problems whatsoever with any of the move.

We used Soyer without any problems 7 years ago when we moved here, so the fact that they are still in business says a lot for them

  Well got back from Izmir, met the shippers Soyer, signed some documents, paid my money, went to customs! The whole process took no more than 50mins then got passports delivered back to hotel before 5pm. All painless,allowed us to have a good time in Izmir without being stuck in a office and our goods will be in Kalkan, early next week after they phone me. So as a follow on so far so good. Met the owner of Soyer so If at the end of all this and I am happy will pass details on to you.
