Anyone seen a water hammock

Great idea water hammocks better than a lilo as water comes through the mesh to keep you cool.

In June someone said they had seen them in Yali but couldnt find when went to look.

Has anyone seen them for sale in Kalkan and if so how much.

Speaking from memory, and I haven't been in Kalkan for about 8 weeks but, I don't remember any pools with sunken trees to attach a hammock to.    I think the chlorine might be detrimental to the wood and the falling leaves clog up the pumps.

I have one which has seen better days and have been looking to replace it for some time now - haven't been able to find one in Kalkan or Kas but have been told they have them for sale Göcek.

They're very light and come in a foldaway flat pack so very easy to slip in with your luggage.
Evidently the ones for sale in Gocek come in lots of bright colours and patterns, don't know how much they are, hoping to go next week and check them out but it's too bliddy hot to contemplate going anywhere at the moment!

I have also have one and can thoroughly reccomend them, we bought ours a few years ago in Kalkan, but have not seem them since. I would be interested in knowing how much they are in Gocek, as I might also need a replacement so a quick detour on the way from Dalaman could be on the cards

I'm assuming those who are looking to replace theirs are doing so for aesthetic reasons as opposed to anything else?
Has anyone seen them in Fethiye? Someone in Kalkan would clean up if they stocked them..!

     Thanks very much for the post - they look superb and I ordered one from Amazon this morning, just over £36 inc delivery in the U.K. Was a bit worried about how we would get it over to Kalkan, delighted to hear that they fold flat!

When you lie on it the mesh is too wide and you sink in the pool ?

From Kalkan go back towards the airport. You go past the turning for Fethiye and further on but before you get to the tunnel you turn left at the signs for Gocek. There is a garage on the left at the turning into the town. It's a lovely place and we usually stop there for a meal on our way back to the airport.

i agree that some entrepreneur should go to Goeck , buy a bundle and sell them in kalkan...keeping one back for me in a week or so's time!!!!!

isnt that a contradiction of terms or am i still thinking too much little chef, fleet services and not enough effes, angora and meze?

No No No .................... The garage is the place we turn. Any one of a great choice of restaurants is where we eat. There are some lovely shops too so if you have an afternoon or evening flight schedule in a few hours at Gocek.
