Well just about to go on line and order the Water Hammock! We know Antler has invested in one, has anyone else, can't wait for it to arrive and pack in the suitcase ready for August 3rd

Ours arrived 2 weeks ago, I was nearly able to use it last week in the back garden! The only problem that I can see is the fact it has a weight restriction of 250lbs so I might be ok (just) at the very beginning of the holiday......... $:-\$ $:-\$

Hi got mine from gardeners world too. It only took 2 days to arrive so chase it up Onelove. It was £30.00 too. How much is 250lbs in stones??

I ordered one about a month ago for my children to give my OH for Fathers Day. I'm hoping he'll let me have a go in 4 weeks time when we're there. I feel very excited to be writing 4 weeks time!!!!!

250 kg is 39 st 5lb. I think most people over that weight won't be in the pool as they won't have got the seat belt to fit for a flight to Turkey!

thanks. I now feel positivity anorexic at just under 18st !

onelove I ordered from the same place and after 10 days phoned them up.. they called back within the hour to let me know they had just sent it, apparently the number of orders for the water hammock had increased unexpectedly!

Phew think I'm safe then Kalkan regular. Me, OH and one and a half of our kids could all pile on together at that rate!!! Trouble is I think it was 250 lbs not 250kg. OH reckons it's just short of 18st so I'm ok but like Hobbo, OH might just struggle by the end of the holiday!!!

Sorry about that....thought it must be reinforced to cope with nearly 40 stones! To be exact it's 17st 12lb.

Onelove - I ordered it from Amazon, price was £29.99, but it was £4.95 postage. They said it should 3-5 days delivery.

If anyone has arrived in Kalkan without a water Hammock all is not lost. The shops in Gocek have a whole range of single and double water hammocks, including ones with built in sun canopies.

Their brand name is Springfloat and prices started at 79TL..

I assume they are available in other places but so far haven't seen them in Kalakn.

No we hadn't either until we read about it on here! The thing is I have only ordered one, and am now thinking we will need 2! Perhaps we might have to draw straws for who gets the first go!! Today have had an email from Amazon to say it has been shipped too!

I only ordered through Amazon because I had a voucher, but otherwise would have avoided the postage!

We bought a water hammock last year, they really are great for cooling off. Only problem we had this year was getting the darn thing packed away. We spent longer trying to fold it up and put it back in its bag than it did fo pack our suitcases!
