Kalkan Beach

Hi All
 
Can anybody tell me how much it is to hire two sunbeds and an umbrella at Kalkan beach?  How does it compare to the prices at the beach clubs?

 7 lira a couple of weeks ago. Some beach clubs don't charge for beds and umbrellas but you obviously have to use their eating/drinking facilities. At the beach you can wander up the steps and choose where you want to eat or drink. We always do both, a day or two at the beach and same at a beach club. Get the best of both worlds that way

Thanks, thats reasonable! We will definately pay the beach a vist in 5 weeks time!

Remember to take beach shoes  to avoid the indignity of slithering up and down the north face of the eiger which is the only route into the sea

If your accomodation has a cool bag, they are invaluable for a Kalkan beach trip. We fill ours with cold beers and wine - some water too, obviously   and snacks. Its lovely to sit on the beach with a cold glass (yes I pack a glass..) of Angora or Lal whilst BH has a bottle of beer. Heaven! BH also packs a bit of butter, comes in handy for the corn on the cob

Thanks Kalkan4eva. Thats a great idea, not sure if our villa will have a cool bag but it might be worth us taking one with us!

what a good idea......may try and get a flat coolbag before holiday, warm water is horrible!
and you are right about the shoes, oh the indignity of try to get out of the sea without them....especially when a young child has just run out beside you as you fall flat on your face!!
