Cetinkaya Apartments

Hi Everyone!
 
Has anyone stayed at the Cetinkaya 3 apartments high up in Kalamar bay? http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/rentals/kalkan/98832
Any feedback positive or negative would be great! 9 weeks to go!

Looking at the photographs I dont think these apartments are in Kalamar, it looks like they are in Kiziltas. We have a villa in Citlinbik Sokak and there are apartments behind us called Cetinkaya - these look exactly like them, the view of the harbour would seem to confirm these are the same apartments. You would be located about 300 metres above the D400 on the same level as the back of Samira Deluxe, nice quiet location, great views and within walking distance of town (roadworks permitting). Dont think I'd want to walk back up in July or August though.

Thanks Ian.  We visited Kalkan last September and found the hills to be hard work but managed.  At least it burns off all the food we eat!   
 
Are there a lot of road works on the D400?

You should not be too affected at those apartments, the work is progressing well and the noise levels are well down compared to May. When we were across earlier this month the major works were further along towards Kisla. I would have thought that the part of the road visible from Cetinkaya will be fully surfaced by the time we are next across at the end of July.

Sorry just one last question, how much approx did it cost you for Taxis from the Taxi rank to your apartment?

   cant help you on that one - we always hire a car from Dalaman to use throughout our stay. Have found this to be as cheap as using transfers and paying for a couple of taxis a day.

We went in taxi from Mediteran Hotel into the village last month and it was 10tl one way
