A trip to court in Kas

Just wondering how many people who have had property stolen in Kalkan recently have been summoned by the kalkan Gendarma at 11 am to appear in court at Kas at 2pm!!
That happened yesterday. The property was recovered and the culprit caught last October. But met face to face with the guy in court. I know the judicial system is different from the UK but nevertheless a bit alarming for me.

Interesting.  Did you have to provide any evidence and were you represented or have a translator?  I guess the short notice could be a little intimidating.

The evidence was in a police report from last may.
There was a translator. But only judge and  prosecutor.
