Efes at home
« on: October 07, 2009, 05:03:37 PM »
Just noticed Efes on offer for £1 per 500cl bottle at our local Booths supermarket (a NW England chain). How does this compare to current Kalkan prices?

I think it's 2.50TL in most markets so yours is cheaper.  I may consider moving!  Which part of the NW are we talking about?

They've put it up in our Wetherspoons too but we won't be put off, will still have to have our Saturday fix when we're shopping in town. Saw it for sale in Tesco Extra a few months back but can't remember how much it cost, have to go in and have a look and get some in ready for those long winter nights!

It was still £1.89 at Wetherspoons in Birmingham last night.  ;) Maybe it'll have gone up next time I'm in there!   Morrisons are selling it for £1.30.

Yep!!.....£1.99 here..i was in town last night..difference between here and Kalkan?...where i was a punch up broke out in pub,on way to next pub(another wetherspoons ,we have 2)youths were throwing stones at cars, bloke being sick outside Mc'Donalds(good advert)Beggars in a doorway hurling abuse if you gave them nothing, police were carting off a crowd in the car park that kicked off outside nightclub(Chicagos)oh! and they want 15 quid to get in!! a man in his kebab van was being racially abused, and it was bloody cold!!....give me Kalkan anyday ::)

Dear Blue Lizard
It sounds as though Fareham has gone up in the world - compared to a few years ago!   Try Petersfield on a Friday night!
