R4 Cards In Turkey

Hi guys, I went to the market today and saw a guy selling R4 Cards for the DS, do these work on an English DSi, and if they do, do the games actualy work? Please reply.

The cards work on English DS, so should work on the DSi. You can download games easily from a number of sites and they all seem to work fine.

Just a word of warning Nintendo have released upgraded firmware (v1.4) for the DSi that blocks R4i nd other similar flashcards working. Also if you have an older version it will automatically update as soon as you log on.

Apparently a software upgrade to the R4i card will soon be available but at present you cannot use the cards on the latest version DSi.
