Early Morning Flights

Since the demise of XL I'm struggling to find an airline that offers early morning flights. We used to take the 06:00 from Gatwick and all being well my son would be in the pool (trunks in his hand luggage) 15:00 ish.
I cant seem to find any early flights these days.......

Monarch offer a 5.50am flight from Gatwick on a Thursday

Your right..Flights that come on offer at these times usually command a hefty price tag!! i'm afraid we are now driven by price first ,then times

We did the early morning Monarch flight from Gatwick.  It was wonderful.  No queues at the check in and only a few early birds in the terminal.  Much easier to get breakfast at that time than a couple of hours later.

Have you seen the prices of flights for May/June 2010?? 

Really expensive - the cheapest I can find from Gatwick to Dalaman is £220!!

Don't know whether to grab that or wait until Easy Jet come out in November.

I got this year's flight for early June off Easy Jet & paid £120, including baggage.

I've just bitten the bullet and booked with TC for 36 people for a wedding!  Was a bit scared to wait until November/December for Easyjet in case they decide not the do Dalaman from Manchester next year and then the TC flights will have gone even more expensive.  Hope I've made the right decision because we've paid £270 each for daytime flights.

Just booked return flights from Newcastle 7am September 14th for 14 nights, just under £900 on Thomson for 2 of us

Included seats together, meals and 25kg each luggage.

A lot of money, in June we paid £600

We always book 7am flights from Cardiff and always have to pay much more than the late afternoon flight. Managed to get the basic return flight for just before the Bank holiday for £554 for two plus add-ons if you want. Already it's gone up twenty quid in two days. Don't mind arriving in the late evening but you are missing out on best part of a day. Hate arriving home really late especially when you have to drive home from the airport afterwards. When we came home from Kalkan in June our car wouldn't start at the airport, flat battery. My Hubby went to the carpark company desk and asked for help and they said that the machine they have to jump start wasn't working so he ended up going around the taxi rank asking the drivers if anyone could give him a jump start and luckily someone said he'd do it for a fiver, we were so grateful. If it had happened after arriving on an very late flight we would have been in a real pickle as there's not usually as many taxis there and we would have had to jump start it in the dark in a very badly lit carpark. Hope we'll have better luck this time, or should I say that my Hubby doesn't park up the car leaving the courtesy light on, dooh!!
