Good morning   

We arrived home from our holidays 3 days ago    Have the holiday blues, so set about looking for next year......

We shall be going to Kalkan July 2016....I've just booked it, (a great price)

We've not visited this area before but are Turkey regulars, it looks as if it's going to be to our taste, have booked a small pretty looking hotel as now our boys have now grown up and we travel alone we don't have to frequent the all singing/ all dancing resorts 

We're looking forward to gleaning some local area info before we go

If you like ......charming friendly locals, stunning views, amazing service & food, roof top restaurants, boat trips, lazy days on the beach / by the pool, a village like atmosphere, cobbled streets, beautiful sunsets, fine dinning overlooking the harbour or traditional tasty, cheap Turkish food, wondering around shopping in pretty narrow lanes out up like a Xmas tree then I think your going to like Kalkan.....if however on the other hand you like loads of bars paying loud music, night clubs & Karoke then Kalkan is not for you.
