Smoking ban

Have I dreamt it, or is there a smoking ban coming into force at the start of July?

Its supposed to be,but can you honestly see all the pipe smokers in turkey putting up with it ?
The pipe in turkey is a sort of tradition unlike ciggy smoking,I can see trouble.

It has been phased in gradually for some time and I beleive that the total ban does come into force later this year.  I see the smoking area at Dalaman has now gone and there are no smoking signs in all public buildings now however, it is still acceptable to have a smoke at the petrol station!  To be honest, I can''t see it having that much of an effect as it has here when you consider most restaurants/bars are mainly outdoors anyway although not sure if that will be governed?
