Newballs, can''t work out if you''re in Kalkan or not!

Have been on the beach all day today in sunny and beautiful Cornwall - have to say, if I could guarantee this weather, I wouldn''t need to go to Kalkan at all! But unfortunately I can''t guarantee ANY good weather in Cornwall (rained 41 out of 42 days this summer apparently!), which is why I spent 6 weeks in Kalkan! However, I''m off to gorgeous St Ives for Sunday lunch at the Porthminster Beach Cafe in the sun tomorrow, which is the closest I can get to Paradise on Earth - I just wish the Telegraph would stop telling everyone about it!!!

Yes kalkanposh, in kalkan  in kalkan and apart from cloud yesterday ALL day nearly, even more worser thann that, today.... 4hours rain!!!!!!!!

 This place is not for the faint-hearted, now that winter is striking viciously down upon us

We have just got back from Kalkan and had a two hour delay at Dalaman early this morning due to the thunder storms as it wasn''t safe to take off. It was the worst storm we have ever seen just like a tropical storm or monsoon- thunder, lightening and torrential rain. The noise of the thunder sounded like a bomb had gone off and the rain was coming through the roof of the airport. I felt sorry if anyone was arriving to that weather they will have got quite a shock ! Arrived back in Manchester to beautiful sunshine  .

wow that is a first arriving in Manchester from Turkey to sunshine, it has been a fantastic weekend in Yorkshire, lawns cut washing dry,everyone smiling, how wonderful the place seems with those golden rays.

snow,snow and more snow..so much snow skiers have been seen scooting down cardiac hill,Eskimos are buying woolly hats in the market and polar bears are in the harbour
