Double standards ??? Discuss.

One of the Italian resorts once passed a law that said any woman who could pass the ''pencil'' test could sunbath topless. That meant that if a pencil was placed under the boob and didn''t fall you had failed!!!!!!!!
It had to be a male dominated council but I think they had a long waiting list for the tester.

Does it matter whether someone is Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Jew, Black, white, yellow or blue? we are ALL God''s (whichever, whoever or whatever you believe God to be) children, it behoves us ALL to have some respect for humanity, where ever we may encounter it! We do not necessarily have to cede to the politics, religon or sexuality of an individual, just accept that it is her/his right to live their life as nature or nurture dictates (within the realms of decency). I will live (hopefully) with respect to all, and can only hope they will do likewise towards me.  We must accept that some (probably all of us unwittingly) will have double standards......and have some pity for their ignorance/naivety?

I did actually say "whichever, whoever or what ever you call God" . . . . "Holy cross",table, T.V or our own mind . . . . (not that I mind) atheists are included in my "definition" of humanitarians. Serefe!
