Asfiya Hotel

Hello,

I was wondering whether anyone knew why the Asfiya Hotel on the Kalamar Road has closed this year and whether it's going to be permanently shut?

My understanding is that the hotel is being turned into apartments and that by next season they will hopefully be ready and available for rent.   Have never stayed there but it looked a good hotel but seems it won't be one in the future.   

Might be wrong but I am sure I have read this.

Ah ok thank you. The rooms did need updating in my opinion but it's still a lovely hotel.

Guests who had already booked were moved to one of his other hotels and I also believe the building will either be turned into apartments or new ones built on the land. The same builder we hear is also building a brand new hotel at the top of the hill we climbed on Saturday - between Kalamar and Kalkan. Pretty soon there wont be much green space left...
