So sad about Rami's. I knew he had to move premises but he was hoping to find somewhere else. Such a shame.

I wonder what places we'll try for the first time on our next visit...5 weeks to go

We are also very sad about White Table. We loved it there and they offered something really different to the other restaurants and was very reasonably priced. Such a shame they won't be back this year

What's New Part Two was posted yesterday and includes a really good piece with pictures about the roads - they are new after all

Well K4E, I think the KTLN pics must have been taken with a rose tinted lens! The reality is much worse than the photos. The old town is one large building site, but, yes, it is progressing, too slowly at present though rumour has it that 60 men will be working on the roads next week. Suleyman Yilmaz caddessi, which is the longest road is still rubble and trenches and no work going on. The actual granite blocks look nice though.

I went into meltdown!!..panicking about not getting the yummy berry fruits ice cream they do...a must if you haven't tried it!

Part 3 of Whats New has been released on KTLN....they do a great job of letting us know whats happening. ( Including new bag shop

A new bag shop...

Almost missed that one during Bimgate.
Kalkan can never have enough bag shops - or property shops it appears

Always super excited when the "what's new" articles are posted on KTLN as it means our holiday is just around the corner
