Keep these tips coming, all sound good and i will give them a try. Maybe when I next walk the gauntlet past the greeters on the way to the harbour and they shout lady, lady you look hot! It might just be a complement  ;D L

Don't worry Babs I have been listening all this time. Have left in a low pair of wedges for trial purposes, but the rest are low flip flops and "Kalkan proof" foot wear. Trouble is I am only just over 5ft so usually need all the heel I can get!  :)

Cracked heels, that's the problem. All that in and out of water and flip flops.....Get's very painful in the second week.

When you go to Jasmine for your hair cut make sure you get a pedicure at the same time, Steve.......we won't judge you ;) :-*
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Shame about the urban decay but never mind, I'll have a look for it when I'm out and about. I've found a bottle of Avon Hawaiian hair masque in the back of my drawers so I'll take that with me to help combat the frizz  :)
Just finished packing, new bedding on the beds and house all clean and tidy. Bacon in the fridge all ready for packing by had to dump the bottle of apple schnapps we were going to take with us as it took us over the edge. Walter had been gently and lovingly placed in the case, it was Walter or the schnapps - he won hands down.  ;D

Hi Lizilu20,

Try Ultrasun to lessen the burnt forehead.  You must put it on clean, dry skin (before skincare but you don't necessarily need that as well) & it binds to the skin (bit like P20 though I've never used that).

It's not perfect as even in an air-conditioned room I have a damp forehead !  But doesn't sweat off once on so doesn't sting eyes.

I'm a bit of a beauty product addict & especially like the advice on QVC (like a televised beauty magazine article  ;D) & they often mention mattifying products for "personal summers" or "tropical moments" - love the euphemisms.  Trouble is no specific items come to mind.  I just do minimal make-up & glow (like a 100W bulb).  Try searching Alison Young's beauty blog on the website.  Good Luck, I'm there 1st September, not been earlier than 14th September or later than 1st week of June in years.  Not sure how I'll survive except out on boats in breeze & under the awnings.

By the by, who or what is Walter ?

Regards, Lucy Lou

P.S.  Sorry missed the bit about travelling tomorrow but you can pick up ultrasun in Manchester airport if you happen to catch this.

Have a good holiday.

Have a curry. Apparently, eating spicy food, such as curries and chillies, stimulate the heat receptors in the mouth. This triggers the body to sweat and this in turn cools the body down. So maybe we should embrace the drip and all head to Tanzore for a chilli packed cooling curry. L
