Yes, indeed welcome Pinkyali.   It is interesting how many of us "linger on the outskirts" before registering on the forum.   Maybe, like me, you had never belonged to a forum   Sounded a bit scary although that seems silly now.   As someone who has been to Kalkan a lot in the past you will certainly be able to add to our joint experience - not only to assist those going to Kalkan for the first time but sharing your knowledge with all of us.   Things change, new restaurants appear, folks stay in different parts of Kalkan so don't always know much about other parts.

There are very many restaurants I have not yet tried, boats I haven't been on, never yet been to a beach club.  Never bought a bag or shoes.   So I am sure you have lots of wisdom to pass on.

Do you normally stay in the same area of Kalkan and do you usually go to hotels or self catering?  We seem to have quite a mixture of folks on this forum and maybe some vary the type of accommodation from year to year.
