Booking Excursions

We will shortly be arriving in Kalkan(Sat 11th Aug), very excited.  Can anyone give us some advice on booking a boat trip and a jeep safari.  I've read the reviews and know what we want to do, but as we are going at a busy time I wondered if we would be better to pre book before we arrive or are we better waiting till we get there.  Also can anyone recommend tour companies for these trips, I have e mailed to try a book a boat trip on the yaldiz.  There are 10 of us (6adults and 4kids).  Thanks in advance, only 13 more sleeps!!!

If you're a member of the forum Adda tours are offering discounts on their trips - google them!  They are offering a Kekova boat trip for £18 special deal and they also have jeep safaris.  There is also Abi travel and several others who all offer trips. We had no trouble getting on any trips last August without booking beforehand.  Yildiz does get crowded but there are loads of other boats to choose from.  If you go down to the harbour in the evening between about 6 nd 6.30 or after 10pm they will all be there taking bookings.  The jeep safaris are easy to spot with notices all over the town.  Mind you there are quite a few of you so it may be a bit more tricky.  I would definitely book the boat in advance. Just wanted to let you know, all trips booked. Thanks again so looking forward to our boat trip on Yildiz 3, you were right they have emailed us no problems.  Our Jeep safari is with Abi travel again no probs. 8 more sleeps.
