How I wish we was out n Kalkan now even with temperatures in London  today of 25c. Lovely to sit in the garden but no pool to cool off in.

Oh well have to make do with a bowl of water to stick the feet in until June 25th.

Hi Peter,

I think the weather down here is  expected to be good all week.

Had to come in from the garden as it was too hot, no idea how I will manage Kalkan in June, still  will find a way I suppose!!

That is some temperatures up north, hope it lasts for you all.

Yes, it certainly is hot here in London.   Now need to go out and water the garden - can't remember when I last needed to do that.   Yesterday morning I went out wearing a fleece.  What a change.   Hose pipe ban so need to use the watering can, good exercise though much needed if I hope to fit into my swimsuit and shorts in Kalkan.

Very hot up here in the North West and North Wales too....got a bit of a starter on my tan, unintentionally, as I was a passenger in open top car travelling from Liverpool to Manchester and back. The big "U" shape of my top will be hard to disguise in a couple of weeks time
Is this the Great British Summer..?

Been really hot here in West yorkshire, it's gone from one extreme to the other, yesterday we had the heating today we had shorts and flipflops on!!!

Just visited our local turkish restaurant and met a turkish guy in there who said we had hotter weather than Turkey, He said it was going to be 27c tomorrow.


Trouble is we never know how long it will last.  As Nicky says one minute you have the heating on the next in  flip flops!!!

I bet Blue Lizard has been hiding under the stones today!!!

It's still roasting here in the sunny North haha, but oh how I wish I was enjoying this kind of weather in Kalkan....Only a 377 days to go

Shade temperature of 23c here in Kalkan, and very similar to yesterday. Cold wind comes and goes and low cloud comes down the mountain behind us in Kiziltas.
This is definitely not what we paid for!

south coast England 28 today currently balmy and humid....the air smells of burnt sausage and if i hear an ice cream vans "just one cornetto again" i will scream

Just been out for a walk with the dog and the smell in the air reminded me of Kalkan around 7pm with all the lovely food smells 
In the frozen north the BBQ's are getting their annual airing
