Anyone else out there - more holiday reports please

As Pompeyalbie is now about to depart home there will be no more of his lovely holiday reports and they have kept me going this past week so please bring on some more from anyone who is there or just returned I love reading what people do, where they go and what restaurants and food they have had as it is so miserable and cold here we need something to warm our cockles.

We are here at the moment but I neither have the vocabulary, wit, humour or way with words as other posters have which makes for interesting reports

However if anyone has specific questions then I'm happy to answer as best I can!
