About to go to Dubai where there has been a forecast for our arrival of heavy thunderstorms. And that follows 10 days of rain out of 14, last December in Antigua. But last week it was 19C in West Yorkshire, as we BBQ'd....

Power is now back on but still raining hard.

Power was off from early evening returning about 9, then off & on during the night had heavy rain until about 6.30 this morning with a storm of lightening & thunder. Now although abit cloudy the sun is trying very hard to show itself & the rain has stopped. We are all just a bit soggy from overnight.

Rain stopped but still dark cloudy skies. Hopefully better tomorrow. We ought to start hourly weather reports on EK. Volunteers for a rota please !

Tonight, lots more rain, like a wet weekend in Blackpool. On the bright side we now have an infinity pool.

Just been persuaded by my daughter (she's 10)to go for a swim seeing as we probably won't have an infinity pool for long. Water lovely much warmer than expected (could be the oversised mousaka from cafe Ev keeping me warm) lightning a nice touch as long as it doesn't get to close.
