Roof top restaurant on webcam

Hi,

Just been looking on the KTLN webcam Old town. to the right appears to be a rooftop restaurant with  about 10 tables. Does anyone know the name of it?

It was Maya but I think it could be under new ownership this year as it wasn't open last year, so may be called something different. The entrance is in the side street.

Thanks Yo Yo, I did notice  there was nothing on the roof last year. Perhaps there will be someone who has tried  it and give a review. does look like it has nice views.

We loved Maya and were so sad Sevilay decided not to open last year.  I think it's new name is Escudo - looking forward to seeing any reviews and to try it out in 4 weeks

By the time I heard that Maya was a good place to go it had closed and the roof top looked rather folorn on the webcam last summer with nothing happening.

Like Rachey I will be looking forward to hearing reviews on the new place - Escudo.   Anyone out there willing to give it a try and write a report for the Forum users.    Although it is going to be difficult enough to fit in the ones already on my list without adding to it.

Time to go to Kalkan getting nearer - third alteration from Thomas Cook on flight times just received today.   Will there be more changes I ask myself.

Maya closed the year before last and Escudo is opening this year.
They currently offer a cafe style service downstairs ın the alleyway off the main road and wıll be opening a roof full service at the roof top restaurant very soon.

Has anyone tried this restaurant yet? Also are the stairs up to the roof very steep. I do struggle trying to get up to roof top restaurants in  that heat but this one does seem not quite as high as the restaurant opposite.
