Haninn apartments
« on: February 02, 2012, 12:33:05 PM »
Haninn apartments. We're going to be first timers in Kalkan this year. We would love to book a gorgeous one bed apart, but need it to be very central, as hubby has dodgy knees. Haninn aparts look fab. Are they? any comments would be greatly appreciated regardin Haninn, (or any other really nice recommends). Thank you.

These apartments are very central so in a great position, if you look in the search facility at the top of the page you will find lots of info about them. There are also nice one bedroom apartments on the Mediterranean complex which is even closer to town. We've stayed at both so if you want more info please feel free to PM me. Enjoy, you'll love Kalkan, everyone does!

The apartments would be perfect for you and Eyup who looks after the complex is a sweetheart.  Don't stay there if you don't like cats though as he looks after a number of moggies.  They didn't bother us one bit, but if you're cat-phobic then it won't be the place for you.  But shhhh, don't tell anyone else about this oasis in the heart of Kalkan  ;D

Thanks guys for your feedback. The apartments sound just what we're looking for ( unfortunately I'm not a cat lover). Do the cats wander into the apartments etc? ( sorry for all the questions)

The cats are curious, and will pop their heads round your door if you leave it open.  But gentle shooing away and they'll soon learn to leave you in peace.  it's a lovely place and if you visit in September you can pick pomegranates off the tree in the garden.  We're back there in May and can't wait.  Eyup emailed me today telling me it's been very cold in Kalkan - not as cold as Edinburgh though!  You'll love Han inn and love Kalkan!

We stayed at Apartment 4 last Sept/Oct and for the first time in our Kalkan history we are going back to the same accomodation (June). I'm with Rachey on this, I almost don't want people to know about the place so we can always find availability when we want to go. Eyup speaks fantastic English and is very inobtrusive - there if you need him as he lives on site. You've made a great choice, maureenr. Very central and "heavy bag" walking distance from Kartin supermarket.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

We arrive there on June 21st for seven nights. Thanks for comments about what great apartments Haninn are. Absolutely reassured us that we've made a good choice.

Ooohhhhh I just wish I could be there with you in June -  I love that place sooooo much.  The garden... the pool, the ambience, the privacy, it is in my psyche but just that little bit too far up the hill for my poor old hips, knees and all..... I did sneak in to take a view last year and probably will this year as well.  Lots of love and enjoyment to all who stay there!!
