New Year Weather

As I sit here, still worrying about the cost of keeping warm, I thought that I would cheer myself up by looking on KTLN to see what the forecast was for Kalkan over the new year. Oh dear! We arrive on Tuesday 27th, and it is showing rain for the 3 days after that. For the 31st and 1st Jan it shows it being dry. (Hoorah!) However, looking at Accuweather, they are pretty much forecasting rain every day until and including the 1st Jan. (Boo).

I know that Kalkan weather is very often different from that forecast 2 weeks in advance, it is only that thought that stops me from sticking my head in the gas central heating. (We have an electric oven.) I hate winter.

On a brighter note it is only 2 more days to the shortest day, then it is all downhill to summer again. (Yippee).
