Please can you all make sure that you leave emergency contact numbers for you guests (I'm sure many of you do already)  I have witnessed several people this year getting extremely distressed because something had happened that caused them to need a doctor urgently and they hadn't a clue how to find one or who to call. One lady just the other day slipped down some wet marble steps with a glass of water in her hand and cut her hand and leg badly - luckily I was there and able to call for a doctor to come out, but they said that if I hadn't have been there they would probably have had to walk into town to get help - not good when someone is losing a lot of blood!!
As I said - I'm sure that most owners do leave emergency numbers for their guests, but for those that haven't please organise it. Thank you.

Good advice.
There is a very good section on KTLN about emergency situations and contact numbers. Easy enough to print off and leave in the accomodation along with other contact numbers and info. like the full address of the accomodation.
Also registering the name and address with the Gendarmes as also recommended on KTLN

Yes, Saskia, I agree it is important to leave information like that for guests.   As JoanH pointed out the information on the KTLN site is easily printed off to leave in a folder in your accommodation.    Owners themselves may be glad they did one day if they have a problem.
