Hi all, a forum newbie here and first time to Kalkan next month....sneaky week away with mum who hasn't has a holiday for 5 years with one thing and another. Can any of you let me have the low down on the Dionysia apartments? Already booked and really looking forward to it...

very nice place..not too big ..and close to town(no taxis!!)...recently refurbished restaurant on the roof with nice views..i'm sure you will love it and Kalkan

Can't comment on the standard of the apartments but as for location - superb! You have chosen well! The views from the roof terrace are to die for and we have had a few beers at sunset up there. Hope you enjoy what sounds to be well-needed break. Enjoy!

Yes totally agree, view from the roof terrace is one of the best you will get in Kalkan, stunning!

Stayed at the Dionysia 3 times, very good. Roof top view has been covered in other posts but the pool area is excellent with a snack bar available should you want an odd Efes or 6. Rooms are very small and basic but typically Turkish

Sounds lovely - the Diana apartments at the Dionysia Hotel are definitely on our short list!

Can anyone tell me about the childrens pool - how deep is it and is it ok?

Apartment was ideal for us and that view... amazing. Loved it so much I'm going back next year with MOH and 2 teenage daughters, but we'll be in the Villa at the other end of the pool this time. flights and trabfers all booked!! I'm totally hooked.....
