Schweppes would be a luxury there is no slim line tonic in Kalkan, I dont like full fat tonic it is to sweet so I drink my Vodka with Soda and a good sqeeze of lemon (or lime if you can find it)

nah...no such thing as slimline tonic in Turkey.
Like the Treets, full fat too sweet for me so I drink my gin with soda...fresh limes in our abode but in the bars, generally lemon.
This year I tried a few different flavoured fizzy waters..... :P :P, ruined my Bombay :(

You can get sugar free lemonade, coke and sometimes iced tea but haven't found any others.

Hi All
We have been coming to Kalkan for 4 years and the lack of Slim line tonic has always been frustrating. This time I wanted to make an alternative which was drinkable. I have a no sugar or wheat diet, so Efes is unfortunately out of the question and I don't want to drink diet lemonade with gin, urgh. I have found the answer = Gin + Soda water + Stevia (a purely natural plant sweetener which can be found on-line). You can also take your own Angostura bitters (£10 most supermarkets) to make a pink Gin Cocktail!! The Stevia and Angostura bitter bottles are only small so wont take much room in the suit case. Enjoy!!

Most definitely Duty free in UK before leaving.  you can also buy in Dalaman duty free when you collect your luggage however I have always found this a little more expensive than UK duty free although it does save you carrying it on the place.  Any spirits other than local are very expensive in Turkey.
