Antler's Local Restaurant - or is it Cafe?
« on: August 19, 2011, 09:14:40 PM »
This time next week we should be well settled in our Apartment. Apparently, you go up past Omar's Kitchen and then turn left, opposite the Market. The apartments are on the right hand side, which used to be the Sun Elite Hotel? I gather, that underneath the apartments is a restaurant / cafe. We also understand that there is a restaurant close by called "Our House"?

Does anyone know if this is one and the same place, or are they two different establishments?

And is it, or they, good for lunch or dinner?!

Cheers,

Excited of Wetherby

You are lucky as you will have two choices as they are different places

Ate at Cafe Ev [the one in front of the apartments] on Monday evening - very good food and excellent value - multi meze choice + soup + dally special main course + rice / bulgar = 22 TL

Our house is up the hill from you and is also great value

So no need to move too far  :D

Hi Antler,

We fly out today (yipeeee!) And will be staying at the Sun Elite apartments for the third time. The apartments are gorgeous and It's in a fantastic location.

Sitting on the balcony with a gin and tonic, listening to the call to prayer drift across on the breeze........just wonderful!

Right, best get our skates on and finish packing!

See you there,

Michelle & Gray

Thanks Kevincat, and even better will be a free Apple Tea at The Pancake Cafe in the market, as you said it could be for famous people last year?  Or was that only FOR last year, lol!!!!  Of course, I may not get a hangover this year!

KalkanPosh - Cafe Ev has been highly recommended by the owners of our accomodation, who returned a short while ago and who managed to drag themselves to that Cafe instead of preparing lunch. Their only movement was to a chosen restaurant on the evening - that's the kind of holiday we need after a very busy schedule this year....

Drakeasinduck - hello neighbours, I hope you don't snore, as apparently I do (but I dispute that!)!! Well, if it is your third visit, then it must be good?! Anne usually tracks us down something pretty smart and the pictures on Owners Direct look fabulous. Have a safe flight there and we look forward to seeing you both by our pool bar?!

Cheers

Antler

Cafe Ev - good for lunch as well as dinner, and now good for breakfast!!  Well that 's good news, isn't it, with already a one inch gap between the button and the hole on the shorts. Whatever, it's too late now - I'll just have to lie down when I put them on!

Just rang Mussakka's new restaurant and booked it for our first dinner, next Friday. Can't call it "Table 31" anymore, but I'm told it's gonna be good.......

Cheers

Antler
