First night restaurant

We had our first night and first ever Efes in the Moonlight bar. Called in there for one drink just after we arrived and ended up spending hours talking to the staff and other customers, one woman on the next table actually lives not too far from us. Had a great night still always love to sit people watching and there's always the regular old Turkish fellas putting the world to rights, drinking tea and smoking their Turkish cigarettes on the wall opposite, a real taste of Turkish life. More often than not we end up practically sitting in the road with the scooters zooming past as the bar gets bigger as the night goes on, all adds to the Moonlight's charm. Mind you, beware of the dreaded slope when you're coming back from the loo especially after a couple of Efes, thank goodness for flip-flops!

Have to agree with clara 50, first meal Merkez, first (and last....plus erm...a few in between) drink at Moonlight.
The slope is a great levelller and a source of some amusement over the years
