Here in the UK we are praying for high winds to blow those nasty ash clouds away...i want to be too hot in a couple of weeks

Last year we were stranded in Dalaman because of the Volcanic ash,we were flying to Manchester where we had left our car,we actually got on the last plane out but had to go to Gatwick.There in Gatwick after waiting for hours we were told they were laying on luxury coaches to Manchester,so we duly queued along with everyone else who piled on these coaches.When it got to our turn this 30year old London red (ex school) bus pulled up,we all thought it was a joke but we were told that every bus in London was in use so we had no choice.We sat upstairs at the back and it was absolutely freezing and banging it down,the rain was pouring in through the windows and we only had t'shirts on,it was horrendous!!!!!Every one started off really jolly and as you can imagine " were all going on a Summer Holiday" was sung but then after at least 6 hours it was no joke anymore.Then to top it all the barrier in the car park didn't work so my brother had to come for us and then my daughter had to take us back to Manchester the next day for the car.NIGHTMARE....

VERY FUNNY ;DThe worst thing was we arrived at Sandbach and had to sit in this cafe for another hour freezing our ......off and lo and behold a luxury coach turned up,so all our luggage was then removed off the bus and we drove into manchester 20 mins later with photographers there taking pics of this coach that had "just arrived from Gatwick"GRRRRRRR

I had a simalar problem coming back from the States but managed to blag a limo from Heathrow to Portsmouth....courtesy of American Airlines......

I checked the weather for our arrival date (6th June) yesterday and it said brilliant sunshine....i checked it again today and its changed to rain, 4 hours of it apparently!!! dont know why i bother checking I'm sure they just make it up as they go along!!

I also go on 6th June and every weather forecast I try seems to indicate a lot of rain although warm. Have had this in the past and even thought about umbrellas - makes it even better when you arrive to find lovely sunshine. They seldom get it right so lets not despair.

Accuweather !!! PAH!! and Double PAH!!...load of tosh..i uninstalled it from my mobile phone after it told me my home town Fareham would be cloudy with showers and 55...while Portsmouth 7 miles away would be 86 and sunny!! what a load of cobblers

I've always said someone should get "Accu" Weather for crimes aginst the trades description laws. Never known it to be anything like accurate
