Tripadvisor - Kalklan hotel in world top 10 pools!

Tripadvisor's latest poll is of the top 10 hotel pools in the world.  Coming in at number 5?  The Villa Mahal's infinity pool!

Looks great and we're staying in the Eagles Nest,  just above the hotel, this year so will pop in for a dip!

The Villa Mahal pool is fab, but better than that of the Mardan Palace in Antalya? Everything on TA has to be taken with a bucket full of salt. If you want  panoramic view even the main pool at the Kalkan Regency is superior.

Take at trip up to La Vanta and you can also experience a majestic view from the 25m infinty pool

These pools sound wonderful - but I thought you had to be a resident to use pools at many of the hotels.      I know some hotels will accept non-residents if they are purchasing drinks/food.    I haven't tried it myself but is there anyone out there who has definite information on the pools.    It could be disappointing if people made a special trip to a wonderful sounding pool only to discover they were not allowed to use it.

Sorry, I should have read further back.    Someone reported that you cannot use Regency hotel pool as a non-resident although you can use the pool bar.    A year ago Lykia hotel were saying their large pool was not open to non-residents but I see someone has posted that they have used it.

Still, if anyone has really researched this it might be useful for people to have a list of pools which can/cannot be used by non-residents, however much drink they might be willing to consume!     Probably not a good idea to mix maximum consumption of alcohol with swimming, plenty of time afterwards though to catch up.   

Anyone with a list??
