Extinct restaurant

Just read on the KTLN website that the Extinct restaurant is no more 
Does anyone know if the new venture Rose Restaurant is run by the same people?

Such a shame, it was one of our favorites.

Kenan, who was the front man, has left. The new business will be run by the owner, the slim, quiet man who wears glasses and another. I think Kenan will be missed by all the customers.

Thanks for replying.  We will miss Kenan.  I remember the man with glasses though.  Will have to give it a try.
We return to Kalkan this year after a two year break.

Keenans partner from last year, Abdullah, is the joint owner with Kemar (the quiet man with glasses) and Abdullah's  wife (Rose hence the new name) is still the chef. So hopefully all will continue as before.

It is pity Keenan won't be there this year but if the cooking remains as before that will be good, and losing the Extinct name cannot be bad for business.

Does anyone know where Keenan has gone to or when they plan to open the renamed restaurant; if its before the 18th of April I will check out the Fish Casserole  and report back.

  Kenan is working in a hotel somewhere in kaş.  Rose restaurant run by Abdullah(we call him APO OR DAYI) We have been  there couple of times last week with some english friends and we had fantastic meal  each time And english friends going back there 23 of aprıl..
      The menu is fantastic The chef is (wife  of the owner) and they have lots of traditional turkish dishes from east of turkey...Highly recommended
