Well at Select World Travel, The Harrison Family (owners of SWT) will be arriving at The Kalkan Regency tomorrow Saturday 20th August for 7 nights, Camera in hand to update our website.It will be great to have some photos of the New look Regency, and to look for some good angles in Town that we might not have taken before. Also Will be celebrating our Daughters 18th Birthday on Thursday, so will be posting you some new Photos on our return. We Will be visiting some old Haunts, Kaya, Trio, The Asfiya Hotel and Lykia Residence and spa, and must remember when leaving The Road from the Regency to Turn Left on the Kalamar Road and try Lizo and see what has changed going past The Elixir (last visit was 3 years ago) usually we always end up turning right and down into town. Looking forward to our return visit, Tomorrow can't come soon enough

Well thank you for starting this thread all those months ago!

I've just spent a lovely hour looking at all the photos of Kalkan in the above links.  I can smell the "Kalkan smell" when I look at them (is it just me, or can anybody else smell the "Kalkan smell"?), and before you ask, I haven't been on the vino.  Yet.

Another thought on the photos.   I enjoy sometimes looking back on the Gallery section "Kalkan Past - pre 2000".   Anyone out there who has very early photos which could be added to the gallery?   For example, I keep saying the palm trees along the harbour were very much smaller when we first started going to Kalkan but I can't find any of my photos to prove it (I am no photographer).   It can be fun looking at the way Kalkan was.   Please don't let this stop anyone producing photos of the way Kalkan is now!!  For those of us who are not good with a camera it is a pleasure to have the gallery to assist with the "Kalkan fix" when not there in person.
