Asfiya/Likya
« on: January 26, 2011, 12:17:52 AM »
Having received an email as a previous customer I am left wondering what has happened. The Asfiya/Likya are no longer with Travelzest or Tapestry and I can only assume this means the Yali too? If anyone can give any further information I would be very grateful. Apologies if answers to this have already been posted. I haven't had time to look back through. ???

It's not just the Asfiya/ Likya, I just spoke to a distraught tapestry customer who has just received a letter from them saying a lot of villa holidays have been withdrawn and offering her a holiday in Egypt!!! as an alternative to the holiday she had booked with them!. She was frantically looking for alternative accommodation in the old town with no success.

Hi,
Why not contact hotels and book direct? They will probably include transfers. We went with a company 7 years ago.
Wouldn't dream of it now.  Arrange all our friends trips recently with the hotels. Choice of room etc. Lot more flexible and the hotel get all the money! You might get a good deal but maybe back of the hotel. Our friends are treated like royalty and you pay on arrival or perhaps on departure.

Judging by the interest we have seen this year,
there's no need to market. Surely if the owners can sell the rooms on line, they don't need the UK exposure and make more money.  Obviously cut out the middle man! Can't understand the problem.

We used the Turquoise Collection for villas in the old town.
I woke up last night to find the ghost of Gloria Gaynor standing at the foot of my bed. At first I was afraid.......then I was petrified

Wonder if its another break away from Tapestry by former staff - the 30 year experience claim including Greece and Morocco sounds familiar.
