15kg allowance with Aegean Flights...

Hey all....
 
we booked the flights and paid for 15kg each baggage - however - being girls and packing heavy - also took 2 small wheelie suitcases with 8kg in too - and both ways - we put all the luggage through without a blink from the staff....  just thought I'd pass it on for those of you who cannot pack light (like me..)

So was that Onur air? We have just booked with them to fly out, but coming back with Thomas Cook. I bet I wouldnt be so lucky although last time we bought some super light cases and filled them to the max and I was pleased they both weighed around 14kg so should be ok.

yes - it was onur air....
 
they charged no-one extra...
 
I was honest and showed them the small cases and both ways they said - no problem!

We've flown with Onur - it was 20kg at the time and we were chaged for being over - £7 per kilo...think you've just been lucky

perhaps we are lucky every year then - as I am always over the allowance and use the hand luggage as a back up - usually travelling with two small children I pack far too much...  tbh - thats why I always use Aegean/Onur as I have never had any problems with having to pay...
