We go at this time every year, it can be very warm and balmy (it was last year) I'ts 25%? during the day but cooler in the evenings and the Sea is warmer in October. There was one year we went (I think 2 years ago) when it rained and rained but was still warm. I think it has to be pot luck by this time of year but Kalkan is still Kalkan. There is plenty to do if it rains like Turkish baths and spa treatments etc. All the Restaurants stay open untill the end of October but it is quieter at this time of year and you probably won't need to book. I think it will be what you make it and as far as the weather is concerned keep your fingers crossed as we will.

Hi, we were in Kaklan last year from 19th October nad we had fabulous weather, it gets dark fairly early though, and is coolish in the evenings - but I never had to use my wrap or jacket.

The previous week we were in the Kaya Valley (Kaya Koy) and it was damp and a bit drizzly but i think that was due to the location in the valley. It was also fairly quiet and most of the restaurants had closed for the season. Better to visit Kaya earlier in the season ...

So when we got to Kalkan the sun came out in more ways than one! Almost all the restaurants were open and it was buzzy but not overcrowded anywhere. If you find that you have a favorite restaurants, it's worth booking to get a 'good' table.

We've booked again for Kalkan this October - a little earlier, couldn't wait till the end of October for a Kaklan fix!

You'll have a great time.
