Packing for 10 days in a carryon bag
« on: July 26, 2010, 11:40:26 AM »

Whilst browsing and escaping  ;D  found the following link on the guardian website which people might find interesting in these days of luggage charges. Too bad I've just bought myself a new case ???

well she obviously wasn't coming to Kalkan...all those jeans!!! Not a paperback in sight, a kaftan or diamante flip-flops or even knickers (eeoow)
And one tiny toiletries bag...everything under 100ml, of course - wouldn't last 5 mins, let alone 10 days...no, not having any of it :P
I'm a kitchen sink packer...and obviously have a make-up bag the size of a trunk (what is natural beauty??) as we are always bang on the limit - whatever that limit might be.
Does resemble my hand luggage though ;D ;D
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

I'm with KK4E - where are this expert traveler's toiletries? Also, I have no doubt that rolling clothing saves space - but it doesn't save weight...  :-\ and then there's the ironing ... noooooooooooooooo!

Natural Beauty.....when you can roll out of bed without looking like you have done 10 rounds with  mike tyson during the night.....some people look fresh as a daisy....mrs L needs several teas/coffees and her magic trunk for some slap and lippy!!...i just stay with the worn look ::)

6 kilos!!..my whole bag weighed 8 and that included a lump of cheddar the size of a small planet

Does Mrs Lizard know what you're saying about her?? :o
She looked as fresh as a daisy when we met you in Moonlight and not a scrap of slap in sight! That's very clever make-up - you're right to call it magic! I need to get me some of them there cosmetics...reet fast! :)
