Samira Deluxe Hotel, Apartement questions?
« on: July 10, 2010, 04:05:43 PM »
Hi, Were heading out to kalkan for the first time on monday, really looking forward to it. We are staying in a 1 bedroom apartment at the samira deluxe hotel and i just have a few questions.
-Do they have hairdryers?
-Do they have an adequate number of coat hangers?
-Do they have toasters/ or grill for toasting?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Jel

We're back from there a week today  :(

Yes they have hairdryers, it is a typical travel hairdryer attached to the wall be right beside a mirror so it's grand.

Our wardrobe had millions of hangers but they mostly looked like they were left by guests so it might depend on the room.

There is no toaster but there is a grill/oven which we toasted in everyday, it takes a lot longer than a toaster but we were never in much of a hurry!!!

The apartments have gotten some bad reviews but it was perfect for what we needed. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned top to bottom every single day.

Have a great time, so jealous  :)

My friend stayed at a Samira 1 bed apartment in May. Her only 'complaint' was that she was told she could not have guests in the apartment under any circumstances. This was VERY disappointing as she had planned to prepare a few meals for the 2 of us (I am also a woman) and this wasn't possible. They used the reasoning that they could not allow people into the hotel that were not registered for H&S reasons (???????) and that the local Jandarme would not allow it. I think this is nonesense.
