Just wondered if there was any update on the potential lack of water situation as reported on KTLN

Hi Everyone,
 
An update from Club Patara management regarding the water situation...
 
"We got in touch with the Municipality and they informed us that there
will be water shortages for 13 days starting from 17th of
April.However,we have 450 tons water tank and will be enough for at
least a week.On top of that we will provide water with our lorry which
has got a speacial water carrier.So you can assure your guests that they
will not experience any water problems.

Well that's good news for anyone staying at Club Patara.
We must assume this doesn't extend to other areas of kisla or does it?

Im not sure Kim, Club Patara management say there were no plans for a 14 day cut but instead 2 days of cuts over a 14 day period.

There's a report on KTLN today saying the planned water cut on 17th April didn't happen, but as from today the water will be off for 22 days    for those areas previously mentioned. That would affect anyone travelling up until 20th May (us ) I hope Patara Prince have got it right and that the cuts are sporadic between those dates, but somehow think if the main water pipes are being cut to facilitate the D400 works, it might be difficult to use a bit of Plumbers Mate to put them back together at the end of each day . Looks like we'll be showering at the beach if this runs over...

Water off again as at 8.30 am on Thursday 13th in old town.

And back on again now (3.40 pm Turkey time), but slightly reduced pressure, I think.

And now off again in old town, as of first thing Sunday morning.
