I tried not to snigger when i heard on the news that Two ladies arrived at Liverpools John Lennon Airport and tried to board a plane to Berlin with a mans dead body in a wheelchair,he was wearing sunglasses but was very dead.....even more incredible they had arrived by taxi from Oldham!!

Just heard about it on Granada news,very strange,was he going in with the luggage or had he paid for a seat ?
musnt laugh but its hard not to have a snigger.

I suppose it was all going fine till they asked "did you pack your bag yourself?"..err hello!!..or maybe it was that he didn't have any luggage?

Apparently he was German....will they stop at nothing to save seats?
 
The taxi driver is "upset and devastated by his ordeal" and the airport remained open during the incident - felt I was reading a Monty Python script as opposed to the local newspaper!

Damn! Why didn't I think of that when my hubby popped off unexpectedly (heart attack) in Islamlar almost two years ago? Couldn't get a refund on his unused plane seat going home!  :'(

Do you think Dalaman staff would have noticed?
