Kalkan in April
« on: March 26, 2010, 01:13:49 PM »
Hi,

My family and I are visiting Kalkan mid April, and wondering if the weather is getting better and if the shops and restaurants will be open?

Thanks!

Hope it's better than it feels today for you. Better take a scarf.

You have to be "having a laugh". The weather in Kalkan has been hot for the last couple of weeks. Mid twenties at least and relatively mild at night. Accuweather said that it was raining yesterday but there was not a cloud in sight.

It's quite cold and uncomfortable to sit outside once the sun has gone even if it's sunny and nice in the daytime, so bring a woolly
never buy a house anywhere without an independent surveyors report

Hi Mermaid, welcome to EK

We often go in April, we love the temperature in the day for exploring but it can be cool at night especially with a breeze - make sure you have a cardi or similar :)
