Restaurants and bars closed

We have just arrived for our 6th visit to Kalkan although only for a week. We see that there are a few restaurants and bars closed. Kosk, Ilban, Ilyada and quite a few others.  Our favourite lunchtime place, Merkez, closed today - we were one of their last customers. Although it is a shame from our point of view we fully understand that with fewer visitors it is not worth staying open and we would wish them a happy holiday - they deserve it.

Well it seems that recession has started to strike the place. It is truly that nonsense to open a restaurant in a least visited area. You will surely loss a lot.
