Villas in Kalkan
« on: October 17, 2009, 10:07:06 AM »
Hi, I've just posted as a new member.  Just about to book a villa on the Kas Road but that means nothing to us as were first timers to Kalkan next year.  Already have flights books and found no availability for a four bed villa nearer town.  How far is the walk in, blurb on villa details say easy 10 min stroll.  Is this true?

Would appreciate any feedback.

The Kas road is the main D400 highway. As the road is being widened over the next winter / summer I would recommend you carry on looking. The road runs through the centre of the village, seperating the 'old' village from Kiziltas above it and as such is very long. The amount of disruption and length of walk to the village is dependant on the villa location. Can you be more specific?

Kiziltas is still within Kalkan, it's up on the hillside so not really advisable as far as walking, but it is lovely and peaceful with superb views, a car is recommended but we love it!
